Powder Coating for Artists

Powder coating is traditionally used in industrial applications, however, in this short demonstration, we will explore how artists can incorporate this material in their work to add color and vibrancy! This low tech method is affordable and less messy and is perfect for artists. We will cover what you’ll need to get started, how to prepare your surfaces for optimal success and how to apply the powder coating. This is a quick introduction and is suitable for all levels.

Cost: $25

This demonstration will be conducted live as a Zoom Meeting. Participants have video and audio access so they can ask questions and share their work with the instructor during the live event. Participants will receive an email from Peters Valley at least 48 hours prior that includes a link and a password. Only registered participants will be admitted. Peters Valley records online programs and shares them with registered participants as a non-downloadable link for one month following the live event.
