Craft, Culture & Cuisine in Mexico
February 28 - March 8, 2024
We are delighted to offer a program to Mexico City, Puebla, and Oaxaca where we will introduce you to the arts and crafts of Mexico. Far away from the oceanfront resorts, Mexican communities across the country have ancestrally worked with clay, stone, wood, natural fibers, textiles, metals, and other materials to create a deeply rich craft culture. We hope you will join us on this wonderful and unique journey!
Space is very limited, so reserve early!

Weekend workshops run through early November!
The 2024 workshop schedule will be listed soon and registration for those workshops will open in early December.
Virtual workshops are also being scheduled throughout the fall, winter & spring for those that can't join us in person.
Peters Valley has always been dedicated to safety and now we'll be taking special precautions to be COVID-safe too. We have made it possible for you to come have a meaningful hands-on experience while still being safe. See our COVID-19 procedures for more information.
Scholarships for Art Educators!
Scholarship applications for fall 2023 workshops are being accepted now!
Peters Valley will offer tuition scholarships to a limited number of art teachers. These teachers will receive 50% off of workshop tuition for a workshop of their choice during the summer workshop season. Recipients will be responsible for all other associated costs such as the balance of tuition, material fees and room and board if needed. Peters Valley offers this opportunity in an effort to encourage art teachers to learn new skills or enhance existing ones.

Through adaptive reuse, these historic buildings now serve as a gathering place for a thriving community of artists and environmentalists, thinkers and changers of the world.

50 Years in the Making
We are a vibrant community, bringing together established and emerging artists from around the globe since 1970. Coming together to make things makes us better artists, able to learn from each other, and to evaluate our own efforts in a wider context.
We provide studio-based educational workshops for life-long learners who have the opportunity to benefit from working with nationally and internationally-recognized artists.
