The Experimental Print

Details Fee Breakdown:
Tuition: $650
Material Fee: $85

This workshop is for the painter who is ready to stretch their canvas into the world of printmaking and for the printmaker who wants to deepen their understanding of paint. We will work on plexiglass to see a transparent surface in front of us and translate onto woodblocks and cut-out paper templates to expand beyond the borders of the paper. We will print off-register (on purpose), experiment with shaped woodblocks, and develop our own color palette. Each participant will come away with acrylic paintings, monoprints, and water-based sketches that will show your experimentation and openness to new modes of working.

*Workshops run from 9:00am to 5:00pm each day

Registration will open December 13th.
