Learn the fundamentals of fabric marbling in this exploration of color, pattern, and design in print! Follow along as Natalie leads remote tutorials from her professional marbling studio. Each demonstration will be followed by virtual open studio time, during which time you will get your hands dirty and all your questions answered. Working with acrylics, we’ll unravel the history of marbling in the European tradition and explore contemporary applications. Participants will be free to develop their own palette and style as class progresses, leaving with an array of designs on natural fibers.

A materials list will be provided at registration for participants to source supplies; the materials cost will be approximately $220.

This class will be conducted live on Zoom. Participants will receive an email from Peters Valley at least 48 hours prior that includes a link and a password. Only registered participants will be admitted.
