Drawing in Nature

$410.00

Details Fee Breakdown:
Tuition: $375
Material Fee: $35

With a pencil as our tool, we will use the power of drawing to connect to the natural world surrounding Peter’s Valley. Weather permitting, we will find ourselves drawing mostly outdoors. Our focus will be on sharpening our observational skills and exploring expressive mark-making, while engaging with both historical and contemporary drawing practices. We will use the materials of charcoal, graphite, and ink to study the structure of trees, tackle perspective and examine our own attitudes towards the landscape. This is a good entry point for those new to drawing, and those looking to deepen their landscape drawing practice.

Workshops run from 9:00am to 5:00pm each day
Lunch is included for all participants
