Liza Nechamkin Glasser


Liza Nechamkin attended the Rochester Institute of Technology, School for American Crafts, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts and discovered her true passion for metalsmithing, exploring all techniques and objects from rings and pendants to hollowware and flatware. Upon graduating, Liza went to work for Tiffany and Co.® for 13 years as a Silversmith/Chasers in the hollowware and trophy shop. During this time, she also developed her silver restoration business and started instructional chasing and jewelry workshops. Liza resigned her position with Tiffany and Co. ® in 2008 to manage Nechamkin Silver Studios full time and pursue the development and marketing of her branded Nechamkin Chasing Tools.Today she continues to restore antique silver as well manufacture her line of chasing tools, chasers’ pitch and chasing hammers.
