Kerr Grabowski - KerrGrabowski_headshot

Bay St Louis MS based artist, Kerr Grabowski, is known for her mixed media work and elegantly whimsical wearable pieces. After twenty-two years in rural New Jersey, nine of them heading the Fibers Program at Peters Valley School of Craft, Kerr returned in 2011 to her Mississippi roots. Kerr is an enthusiastic workshop leader, fostering experimentation and play as well as technical skills. She is a recipient of both the Mississippi Council on the Arts Fellowship and the NJ Arts Fellowship and exhibits and teaches internationally. In her search for a more direct and painterly way to print, Kerr developed Deconstructed Screen Printing. She produced the DVD Deconstructed Screen Printing on her technique.
