Jonathan Pacheco

Jonathan Pacheco is a ceramic artist making functional and sculptural work. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in Ceramics. Working as a ceramic artist for 19 years, he is deeply interested in wood fired ceramic processes and resulting textures. Time, texture and layering are important parts of his process. Jonathan teaches ceramic classes at Clayspace in Lisle and at Lill Street in Chicago, Illinois. He also works at Waubonsee Community College in Sugar Grove, Illinois as the Ceramic Coordinator.
