Jane began her college education at Sussex County College, and returned to teach varied Art and Design courses as an Adjunct Professor for many years. In addition to college training she has studied with Mel Stabin, who is a prolific plein air painter and teacher. Jane works intuitively, primarily in watercolor and charcoal as well as in various other mediums, including paper and fiber arts. For over 30 years her studio; nestled in a high valley near the Appalachian Trail in the Kittatinny mountains of rural NJ, has been a major source of inspiration.
