Ellyse Bendillo has a BFA in Jewelry and CAD Design from Tyler School of Arts. She has worked on Philadelphia’s historic “Jeweler’s Row” for the past 6 years, working primarily in gold, silver, and platinum production and repair with a focus on antique enamel restoration. Her restoration work requires a precision and attention to detail that is seen in her own pieces. She combines expert soldering with creative cold connections to join glass enamel creations with fabricated frames. Ellyse teaches workshops locally at Fleisher Art Memorial in Philadelphia, and co-manages a private studio space in the city that provides affordable work-space to emerging jewelry artists. She was recently awarded a 1-month residency at the Baltimore Jewelry Center, which she will be attending in February 2024.
