Darren Fisher is a Keyport, NJ artist whose works in metal and wood include jewelry, furniture, sculpture, and architectural installations. Darren holds a BA in Environmental Geography from Millersville University, Millersville, Pa.,  and a MFA in Sculpture from New Jersey City University, Jersey City, NJ.  His post-college exposure to various crafts and light-industrial settings came through positions in jewelry, silversmithing, blacksmithing, foundry work, cabinet making, and boat building.  From this history, he operates a studio that combines all elements of these trades, catering to the needs of private clientele and architectural firms. His works have been displayed in numerous shows, exhibitions and galleries including Mining Vernacular: Earth. Work. Edifice., MFA Exhibition, New Jersey City University, Jersey City, NJ, INSITE: The Intersection of Art and Architecture, South Orange, NJ, AIR 20th Anniversary Show, Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts, Gatlinburg TN, the CAA Regional MFA Juried Exhibition, Bethel University, New York, NY.
