Chloe Darke

Chloe Darke is originally from Groveland, Massachusetts. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts with honors in Metalsmithing & Jewelry from Maine College of Art in May 2011. Chloe was employed as a silversmith at Old Newbury Crafters in Amesbury, Massachusetts from October 2011 to August 2016. She and her coworkers are featured in an episode of the PBS television series Craft in America entitled “Forge.” She received her Master of Fine Arts in Metals from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in May 2019. Chloe was an artist in residence at the Houston Center for Contemporary Craft from June – August 2021. HCCC’s In Residence: 14th Edition featured two of the pieces she has made during the course of her residency. Additionally, her work was recently on display in Craft Desert’s Small Acts: The Craft of Subversion in San Diego, California. She is currently based in Upperville, Virginia.
