Celeste Flores

Celeste Flores has been a lifelong artist. While working on her BFA at The Academy of Art, she became fascinated by the process of shaping metal using fire and hammers. After college she began working at a school of industrial arts called The Crucible, where she still teaches. She learned to forge bronze from Jerry Coe and together went on two trips to Buenos Aires, Argentina where they had the opportunity to teach  and work with blacksmiths in South America. Celeste has served on the board for the California Blacksmith Association and the Executive Team at The Crucible.  I have been featured in Make Magazine, SF Chronicle, La Nacional (Argentina), The Anvil’s Ring and many others. I have worked for NBC Sports, Audi and Francis Ford Coppola’s Inglenook winery. She keeps very busy growing my business forging custom objects for customer’s homes, gardens, and businesses.
