This beginner level class will cover the fundamentals of designing and building with Rhino. Learn how to model pieces that can then be 3D-printed, cast, or rendered. Rhino is an industry standard program which is compatible with both small- and large-scale designs and can be used to model anything from jewelry to an automobile. We will discuss practical uses for this program, such as 3D printing and casting. We will practice visualizing 3D forms in virtual space, and each participant will gain an understanding of the basic uses and techniques of this software. Requirements: Laptop or desktop computer with a working webcam and microphone. A multi-button mouse is preferred but not required. Rhino must be downloaded prior to class and is available for a 90-day trial free of charge.
