Delve into dynamic forms with felt as a contemporary sculptural medium. We will begin by exploring traditional felting techniques to create both vessel shapes and flat-based forms. We will then apply our own unique designs in form and shape to contextualize constructed woolen objects. Bringing one of the oldest forms of textile techniques into a modern context, you will leave the class with a sustainable skill and an understanding of wool as a medium.
Participants are encouraged to bring small objects to incorporate into their woolen forms. Beginner and Beyond
