Keep me Warm: Weaving a Paneled Blanket

October 3, 2022 at 9:00 am - October 7, 2022 at 5:00 pm

Instructor: Tegan Frisino

October 3-7

This class is designed for those who like to weave big things! Blankets are a great way to extend weaving skills to a larger scale. In this class participants will learn how to design, weave, and finish a paneled blanket. Paneling is a technique where long yardage is woven, cut apart, and the edges are sewn together to make a blanket double (or triple!) your loom width. Tegan uses this technique often when creating complex patterns for queen and king sized beds. Everyone will go home with experience weaving yardage, pattern matching, and paneling a cotton blanket.
