Posters for the People comes to Peters Valley

New Jersey State Council on the Arts has designated Peters Valley School of Craft as a Major Arts Institution and also bestowed a Citation of Excellence for Fiscal Year 2017. We are so honored!


 

GRANTS AWARDED TO PETERS VALLEY

The Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation awarded a grant of $75,000 for general operating to Peters Valley in April of 2016.  In addition to this generous support the foundation continues to offer capacity building workshops to it's grantees and our organization is much stronger because of their committment to share techincal resources to grantees. 

 

The National Endowment for the Art- Imagine your Parks awarded $15,000 for Fiscal 2016 to support two exhibitions of Posters for the People historic WPA era posters at the NPS HQ in Bushkill las fall and in the Sally D. Francisco Gallery at Peters Valley April 8-May 21, 2017.
 

The New Jersey State Council on the Arts awarded Peters Valley general operating support of $78,366 for fiscal year 2017.
 

The John A. and Margaret Post Foundation awarded $8,500 to support the purchase of portable ceramic wheels, warm glass working tools and equipment and kilns for youth art and craftsmen at work programs.
