Held at the Pike County Public Library - Free to the public!
Thanks to a grant from the Greater Pike Community Foundation, we are excited to offer lectures throughout the year by curated professional artists. Typically held on a week night, these lectures are truly inspirational. Please check back often for new offerings!

Dec. 7th - 8th from 10am - 6pm

This annual event will include artist demonstrations on both floors of the gallery. Customers can relax with a cup of hot apple cider and treats as our knowledgeable staff helps them select the perfect presents. Inventory comes in all season, so by this weekend the gallery will have a fresh look for December. The Peters Valley Gallery thanks WXPN for their support of this holiday season’s events.

Come spend the weekend alongside the PV crew, helping us get our campus ready for the season! We are seeking volunteers to help with important projects in our studios, dorms and outside on our beautiful grounds. This will be a weekend full of laughter and camaraderie as we tackle the always growing to-do list to make our campus the best it can be for our incoming assistants, students and instructors.

Pre-registration is required so that we can coordinate projects. Limited on-campus lodging is free and available to those who come to help! A pizza lunch and refreshments will be provided for all volunteers.

Due to popluar demand,we have scheduled two trips! Traditional crafts have played an important role in making the culture of the Japanese distinctly its own. It can indeed be said that traditional crafts are the heart and soul of the Japanese culture. A country that spent much of its history in isolation, Japan claims unique arts and crafts traditions that have been handed down from generation to generation. On this amazing trip you will explore museums, meet master artisans and visit many artist workshops throughout Tokyo, Kanazawa and Kyoto. Please email Peters Valley board member Teresa Stack (teresa.stack @ or call her at 347-461-8524 for more information.  Space is very limited and this trip is sure to sell out, so please reserve early!

After a sold out departure this spring, we are delighted to be returning to Morocco in the fall of 2020. We’ll visit the medieval city of Fez, the imperial city of Meknes, the artisan centers of Sefrou and the High Atlas Mountains and end in iconic Marrakesh.  We’ll travel though gorgeous rural landscapes and thriving old cities, meeting with local craftsmen and learning about their work first hand, with lectures and hands-on demonstrations. We’ve chosen beautiful one-of-a-kind boutique hotel properties (with limited space so early reservations are essential).  Please email Peters Valley board member Teresa Stack (teresa.stack @ or call her at 347-461-8524 for more information.
